Here she comes, I think she’s spotted me Spiderman in silk leaning up against the jukebox She’s coming my way, she almost dropped a name on me She ain’t no lady, she’s a high class girl I think, I think I like the way I’m moving I’ve been inside so long I’m gonna hurt someone I’m feeling loose, feeling free, feeling funky, feeling happy She gonna take it out on me She ain’t no lady she’s a high class girl She ain’t no lady she’s a high class girl She’s a small town girl With her hair in a handbag, wet-neck, long leg, fancy plastic face She’s winking and wanting to put me in my place Here she comes again And there she goes I’m giving her that look that says “walk on by” I can’t afford this kinda trouble, no more no more She ain’t no lady she’s a high class girl She ain’t no lady she’s a high class girl She’s a small town girl Checking out her chewing gum Yum yum Small town girl

I ride a boy’s bike, I am a boy I fly like Batman, I am a boy I know what girls like - gems and potatoes Love Flying Free I ride a dirt bike, I am a boy Skateboard on Sunday Fathers annoyed Subscribed to Boys Life Tourniquet technique Blood from the limb flowing free Girls have dollies for tea I ride a girl’s bike, I am a man I dropped the bar, crashed in the bushes I am a man I know what girls like, love flying free I know what I’m like, I’ve had therapy

Stumbling and falling in darkness called home I watched you move into red danger zone Smile obliquely as if to tell all Word for word nonsense brings no curtain call Nothing more beautiful - stumbling and falling Nothing more wonderful - stumbling and falling Children light candles and wax burns them through Warped plastic mirror, distorted and you Running down my street, so peaceful and green Stopped by the Iceman, still stuck to my dream Nothing more beautiful - stumbling and falling Nothing more wonderful - stumbling and falling Catch me or leave me stumbling and falling Watch me disintegrate - stumbling and falling Remember the silence when we screamed for justice and we found out what it really was Nothing more beautiful - stumbling and falling Nothing more wonderful - stumbling and falling Fast forward motion - stumbling and falling Into the ocean - stumbling and falling

(She entered the room weeping, on legs that were not her own…) Darkness, death and deep denial Fake that smile, break those eggs The end has surely come - have you? Darkness, death and deep denial Walk a mile, broken leg A photograph of your new shoe Remember when you needed two? Those days are gone and so are you You faded fast, what did you do? You sold your soul to sing with Su - who? Darkness, death and devastation Clouds are bursting, toads are raining down upon your hit parade Jesu, Joy of Claude Debussy Bela Bartok, Oakland Zoo A garden full of songbirds, too You popped the cage and out they flew Now here’s your chance to make amends Pick up the phone ring up your friends Tell them you finally reached the end of your ego There ain’t no easy way to give what I have not The only bread I know is that which I call brot Memory of me, baked to a tee Darkness, death and dislocation Fornication Dreams are coming true and now you’re screwed Darkness, death and disappointment Please anoint my empty head And take me to bed Sleep me beside you, warm hands will guide you

Washing My Windows He took a fall from a high place He landed way down low The angels came to collect his face There was no pain, he did not know Oh… washing my window Handed a pen and forms to sign He did not understand A simple X on a dotted line Followed a guided hand The voices rose in ecstasy Give him a minute Try humming Elgar’s Elegy Maybe he’ll get it… No… Where did my window Where did my window Where did my window go…? He took a call on a white phone The voice he recognised What would you like on your tombstone? A side of curly fries to go? Sarcasm finally turned the light bulb on So I was here and now I’m gone… But I was just… Oh… washing my window

Sing in praise of blazing Silver Haze and phasing I’m all alone with my Small Stone A phaser most amazing High as a mountain hill I crawl til I’m higher still and Singing phaser praises In hazy silver phrases I’m small and stoned in my headphones And lost in sonic mazes Fly on the windowsill Have I got that swatter still? And when does my love come home? Til then I’ll just sit here waiting, writing, aching, slowly baking A lazy day shoe gazing Mumble-mouthed and awkward phrasing I’m on my own with my Small Stone My blue eyes red and glazing

Christy Jaye 03:00
Christy Jaye Silly idiot You love everyone every day Can’t you see? Little hippie twit You’re giving the good stuff away Every hand gets a dollar Every dog gets a bone And a brand new dog collar And a loving home Christy Jaye Silly idiot You love and you love every day Don’t you know? Little hippie twit You’re giving the good stuff away Through that crack in your window Through that crack in your door You reach out and give clothing and food to the poor Christy Jaye Maybe you should build a bigger table for your hungry friends While you’re at it, start a record label, sign ‘em all as hunger trends Christy Jaye Silly idiot You love everyone every day Can’t you see? Little hippie twit You’re giving the good stuff away Christy Jaye Silly idiot You love and you love every day Don’t you know? Little hippie twit You’re giving the good stuff away

A Star Is Born In the skies a star is born Elsewhere in the cosmos dies another A billion years, a blip, and then we’re gone Moaning on our death bed, “Hear me, mother…” I’ve lived a life as best I could Clueless, clumsy, never quite enlightened Hear me, mother…best I could I’d do it all again bit less frightened

Kitchens are for fun Full of liver and onion Father bakes a pie Clocks and calendars fly Dinner’s almost done Butter melting in the moonlight Flavor under tongue It’s a heavenly day all night Old Diamond Jim swings by, fresh from Mexico Two sips of red, red wine and away he goes Kitchens are for fun Full of liver and onion Father bakes a pie Clocks and calendars fly First a nurse and then a nun Cigarette another onion Father’s on a roll Telling tale upon lobster tale Tie my hands behind and I’ll follow you Lead the way, oh Kay, into Heaven true I’ve got a lovely bunch of coconuts I’d like to chew the husks right through I’ve got a lovely bunch of coconuts I’d like to drink the milk with you I’ve got a lovely bunch of coconuts I’d like to chew the husks right through I’ve got a lovely bunch of coconuts The milk with you Highland Ave, in a wheelchair The cousins wheel around, squealing “Candy!” “Where?”

about

Songs of Gender, Sexuality, Phase Shifters and Death. Not sure that scans so well, but it certainly sounds like something that would sell. Except, hi, I'm Anton. Another oddball collection of songs. Some from the Before Times and some from after my dad entered hospice. Really, the Polynormal thing was originally meant to be comprised of songs by other artists on the Polynormal label, not songs by me. Mice/men etc. Still, you do get Kyle and his vision of what might've been. I hope you enjoy this homemade bag of fishing trips.
